Exploring Kowloon Park: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Hong Kong

Let's continue exploring Kowloon Park. This park so far is the biggest park here in Hong Kong which occupies 13. 3 hectares of this island. It offers indoor and outdoor facilities good for recreational activities and more like the birds lake and the aviary section; you can also find exiting and fun facilities perfect for all the members of the family.

When you step into Kowloon Park, you're greeted with a delightful surprise - a maze garden, sculpture garden, the Kowloon West II Battery, and other parts of the park; each offering a unique experience that adds to the park's charm.

And of course , the rich culture and tradition of this country will always be showcased and preserved in this park. You can visibly notice it  when you pass through this Chinese Garden. It looks so great that I personally felt like a character in a Traditional Chinese movie with this beautiful shades and lake.



But this park is really memorable for the Chinese and Hongkongers because of its segnificance to the history of Hong Kong. Well, we all know that Hong Kong was once governed by British government since China traded the country to the British empire during the opium war. However, it was returned to China in a condition that it will be a "One country two system " type of government.


For those who don't know, this park was actually the Barracks of the British soldiers before during the British regime.

And this kanyons here is a  memorabilia of those times.
